About Westar OB/GYN The mission of Westar Obstetrics and Gynecology is to utilize our time, talents, and training to provide excellent health care for the patients who entrust their lives and the lives of their children to us. All of our staff works together in providing health care. We are committed to pro-life obstetrics and gynecology, and to the Hippocratic Oath. We recognize that excellent health care is expensive, and constantly strive to utilize health care dollars as efficiently as possible. Dr. Alan Murnane came to Westerville Ohio in 2003 after practicing with a hospital owned obstetric and gynecology practice for eleven years in Toledo Ohio. He established Westar OB/GYN in the Westar Health Center located at the corner of Cleveland Avenue and County Line Road. Dr. Murnane, Dr. Rouse, Katherine Elliot, and Angela Ferrell have privileges at Mt Carmel St Ann's Hospital. We are involved in hospital activities and entrust the care of our patients to St Ann's Hospital. Practicing with only one hospital gives our physicians the ability to directly care for our patients and dismisses the possibility of being unavailable while at another hospital. Our office was recently renovated with new carpet, hardwood flooring and fresh paint. We have chosen to create a warm yet strong color pallet.
