We the People
The Ohio Center for Law-Related Education (OCLRE) is dedicated to enhancing civic understanding among Ohio's students and teachers through engaging academic programs focused on government, law, and active citizenship. Established in 1983, OCLRE empowers participants by providing authentic learning experiences that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills while promoting positive interactions within the community.
With a wide array of programs such as the We the People initiative, High School Mock Trial, and Moot Court, OCLRE serves over 1,500 volunteers and countless students across more than 70 counties in Ohio each year. By immersing students in real-life legal scenarios and democratic principles, OCLRE plays a vital role in preparing informed citizens for the challenges of modern society.
