Centerville-Washington History was founded in 1966 as the Centerville Historical Society. It maintains and operates two different museum locations (Walton House & Asahel Wright House) and a Research Center in the Centerville community. The Walton House (c. 1838) was the last home of William and Mary Walton. Learn about the history of Centerville and Washington Township from a guide while viewing a collection of local artifacts. A variety of publications about local history are also available for purchase. Visiting the museum is free. Donations accepted.
