Founded in 1896, Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio is a nonprofit, faith-based organization that serves homeless individuals and families and people with disabilities. The organization offers housing, case management, clinical treatment and counseling services. Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio conducts homeless veterans reintegration, special needs assistance and substance abuse treatment programs. The organization is funded by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Labor.
