Amanda is a licensed professional clinical counselor and board certified art therapist trained to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders. Before joining Providers for Healthy Living, Amanda was a clinician at UMCH Family Services, where she provided a variety of mental health services to children in schools, homes, and outpatient settings. Our addiction treatment center takes a holistic approach to guiding our patients to break the cycle of opioid addiction and other substance abuse issues. We have a dedicated team of medical professionals, therapists, and chemical dependency professionals to design an individualized plan for recovery from substance abuse and underlying mental health concerns. We currently provide services on an outpatient basis, with inpatient and residential programs coming this fall. We provide a variety of treatment options, including individual and group counseling, workforce, and life skills development. Our services are covered by insurance and Medicaid. Kiera is a certified physician assistant with the ability to make diagnoses and prescribe medications under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Lowe. ​She received a bachelor's degree in biology from University of Dayton and a master's degree in physician assistant studies from Ohio University. She has prior experience as a family medicine physician assistant. She has interests in holistic approaches to caring for her patients and their mental health.
