A cute area to hang out at the beach. The area itself is very nice. There are cute shops and places to eat near by.

The Vermilion Lighthouse in Vermilion, Ohio, USA, is a historic beacon located on the shores of Lake Erie near the mouth of the Vermilion River. Erected in 1991 and dedicated in 1992, this 34-foot replica lighthouse stands as a tribute to the original structure that was removed in 1929.
Designed by architect Robert Lee Tracht and built by the Great Lakes Historical Society, the Vermilion Lighthouse features a 5th order Fresnel lens illuminated by a 200-watt incandescent light bulb, casting a steady red glow as mandated by the United States Coast Guard.

Very nice lighthouse with a great beach. It is a short walk from a cute Main Street Vermilion. There was a cold wind blowing off of the lake but the lighthouse was so interesting that we kept...
