The Wilderness Center is a non-profit organization located in Navarre, OH, dedicated to educating people of all ages about nature and conserving natural lands for the benefit of the community. With over 3,380 acres of protected land and 18,000 acres under sustainable forest management, they offer a variety of educational programs and events to inspire a love of nature and promote conservation.
Through their school and youth group programs, family programs, and adult programs, The Wilderness Center aims to help people learn more about the natural world around them. They also actively engage in conservation efforts, including their Backyard Habitat Initiative and Dark Sky Initiative, and offer consulting forestry services. With 12 miles of trails and two preserves open to the public, The Wilderness Center serves 31 communities and has impacted over 31,000 students since 2018.
