As of late October the bathrooms are still open. Had a nice hike over mostly flat terrain with lots of views of the river. A few small benches are along the way.

Beautiful old growth forest with a variety of mature and impressive trees, BUT way too much poison ivy along the sides of the main paths for me to be comfortable.

This trail has a ton of options. Besides the fact that you can actually put your canoe in the water here. We met a ton of great people on this trail today... And their pets. Five stars all day long.
