Tasco Thompson & Sons, founded in 1973, competes in the world market today as one of the leaders in the metal stamping industry. The family owned contract metal stamping facility located in Crestline, Ohio, supplys its customers with quality metal stampings and welded sub-assemblies. Tasco Thompson & Sons became QS 9000 certified in 1998 and in 2007 became ISO 9001:2000 certified. The company works primarily with low carbon steel coils that range in thickness from .016 of an inche to .250". It also produces parts made HSLA, stainless steel and aluminum. Its stamping presses range from 40 tons to 400 tons in capacity. Most of the presses are set with feed lines and run progressive dies. The company also does welding and sub-assembly work with its resistance and robotic welders, and specialized welding with Mig and Tig welders.
