Started in 1996, the Sunrise Academy is one of the oldest, full-time chartered Islamic schools in Central Ohio. The school provides academic programs for more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade eight. It has a staff of teachers that offers classes in Arabic, Islamic studies, art, physical education, reading, writing, social studies and math. The Sunrise Academy offers several breakfast and lunch menu options to its students. The school conducts various parent-teacher conferences that encourage parental involvement in student education. It encourages students to participate in Tae Kwon Do program, a Korean martial art exercise. The Sunrise Academy is located in Hilliard, Ohio.

I honestly love this school. I went here for two years and I loved it but the uniform is kind of annoying. The teachers are amazing, and very nice. I loved this school

Sunrise Academy is great place for kids to learn. The teachers work hard to help the children. Parent-school communication for non-English speaking parents could be improved on.
