Summit County Public Health

Established in 1919, The Cuyahoga County Board of Health is one of the largest health districts throughout the United States. It supports a range of public health programs and services. The board offers environmental health, nursing, epidemiology surveillance and informatics and community health services. The Cuyahoga County Board of Health administers a residential child care inspection program that conducts inspections of pre-school and school-aged child care facilities that are licensed and inspected by the Ohio Department of Education.
