Stepping Stones Center is a nonprofit United Way Partner agency that serves nearly 1,000 adults and children with disabilities annually. The mission of the agency is to increase independence, improve lives and promote inclusion for children and adults with disabilities. Its Step Up Program is a unique service developed to provide a comprehensive treatment and education program for school-age children with autism disorders. The agency provides children with developmental play therapy that promotes motor, language, social and emotional skills through the use of developmentally appropriate activities. In addition to adult workshops, Stepping Stones Center offers aquatic activities that promote water adjustment and swimming skills. I worked out there through a district to help with a student and I was miserable there. Let's be honest: this is a summer camp so the staff consists of young kids and in many ways you cannot...
