This has led me down many paths - from research focused on surgical techniques to improve postamputation pain, to the influence of health care policy and treatment strategies on bone cancer outcome 've had phenomenal mentors along the way who inspired me to pursue a career in orthopedic oncology. Throughout medical school, residency and fellowship, these mentors demonstrated compassionate, patient-centered care and an endless drive to make advances in the field of sarcoma that I try to emulate today.
