I haven't been to Steak 'n Shake in years but I'm so glad I came back! I'm loving the new changes to the food like the beef tallow fries and wagyu beef burgers. The shakes are as good as ever too.

Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes.
For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for steakburger. The term "shake" stood for hand-dipped milkshakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business.

We are addicted! We love the fresh fries that are fried in beef tallow. The burgers are so tasty, overall a nice quick lunch that is budget friendly.

Very clean restaurant and easy to order at the kiosk. Food came out quickly and was pretty good. I've never had anything besides the Frisco Melt because it's delicious. Hardly anyone does party...

What happened to actual service at restaurants? Everything is online now, there are no waiters or waitresses, and all staff were just in the back. Since there were no cleaning staff, all tables...

Steak 'n Shake didn't have shakes! The one and only machine wasn't working. Get real it's in their name!
