Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities

Whipple-Dale Centre, located in Canton, Ohio, is run by the Stark County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. The center offers a range of programs and services, such as health and therapy, family support, youth, and psychology and behavior support services. The programs provide services to eligible individuals from infancy through adulthood. It serves Stark County residents with mild, moderate, severe, or profound mental and other developmental disabilities. The developmental disabilities programs are offered to persons with substantial functional limitation in the areas of self-care, receptive and expressive language, learning, mobility, self-direction, capacity for independent living and capacity for economic self-sufficiency.
