St Johns United Church
St. John's United Church of Christ, located just outside of Fostoria, Ohio, has a rich history dating back to its organization on July 4, 1845, by German immigrants. Originally named the Fruth Congregation, it transitioned to a United Lutheran and Reformed Church in 1865, with Rev. Adam A. Conrad as its first Pastor.
The church's original building was erected in 1851 on land donated by John Cramer and underwent several changes over the years, including significant renovations in 1911 and rebuilding after a tornado in 1937. It was expanded again in 1969, continuing to serve as a spiritual home for the community.
