Smith & Wollensky

The original Smith & Wollensky, a traditional New York steakhouse, opened in 1977 and is currently one of the largest grossing la carte restaurants in the country. Since its inception, the company has grown to include more than 10 restaurants, including establishments in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Houston, Boston, Las Vegas and Columbus, Ohio. Smith & Wollensky is also one of the few national steakhouses that dry ages and hand butchers beef on its premises. The restaurant also offers private dining rooms for road show luncheons, conference dinners, product launches, press conferences and client and holiday parties. It is operated by the Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group that develops, owns and operates various restaurants in major cities across the United States. The group also operates several other restaurants in New York, including Maloney & Porcelli, The Post House, Quality Meats and Park Avenue Caf .
