Its projects are located throughout the central Ohio area and consist of large housing developments, apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings and public works projects. In addition, Conie Construction is a distributor for Dandy products, which are designed to keep silt, sediment and construction debris out of storm systems. The company was founded in 1923 under the name Thompson-Conie Construction. In 1966, Jack Conie Sr. acquired Thurman Thompson s interest in the company and changed the name to Jack Conie & Sons. The company arrived at its current name in 1990.
