The Laura and Alvin Siegal College of Judaic Studies, formerly known as the Cleveland College of Jewish Studies, is a non-denominational institution of higher Jewish learning located in Beachwood, Ohio. Established in the 1920s, the college offers degree programs in Judaic studies at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as lifelong learning opportunities for adults on various Jewish topics.
With a rich history that includes the founding of a Jewish training school and subsequent mergers, Siegal College has evolved to focus on high-level adult Jewish education. In 2012, the college partnered with Case Western Reserve University to enhance its adult education offerings, leading to the closure of the college and the transfer of its library to the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland.
