As a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, I specialize in hip and knee replacement and revisions. I enjoy helping people regain their mobility, independence and pursuit of activities that make their lives enjoyable after having long-term difficulties with joint problem have had experiences both at academic medical institutions and in private practice, but I realized that I missed teaching and mentoring students. During my time at Ohio State, I plan to take on more of a role in orthopedic surgery resident education, collaboration to drive prosthetic joint infection management and coordinating research efforts for the total joints surgery division of the Department of Orthopaedic efore coming to Ohio State, I made contributions to the field of medicine by implementing significant administrative changes at the local level and investigating a novel care pathway for total joint replacement that has the potential to significantly impact health care as a whol 'm passionate about working at Ohio State (my alma mater) because it has the resources and collaboration between departments to support the best management of complex and failed hip and knee replacements.
