Trauth Dairy is a fluid milk and ice cream processing company located in Newport, Ky. Established in 1920, the company produces a variety of dairy products, including milk, chocolate milk, egg nog, vanilla shakes, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream bars, popsicles, cottage cheese, buttermilk, cream, sour cream, orange juice, lemonade, fruit punch, sweetened ice tea and spring and distilled water. Its egg nog and sour cream have been named Cincinnati s Best by Cincinnati Magazine. The company was also named the Dairy of the Year in 2003 and the best fluid milk plant in 2004 by the All Star Dairy Association after competing against other dairies in the United States. Trauth Dairy is a division of Dean Foods, a leading food and beverage company, and one of the largest processors and distributors of milk and other dairy products in the United States.
