Founded in 1970, Children's Hunger Alliance is a nonprofit organization that conducts various education, leadership and advocacy programs to deliver financial assistance and support for children throughout the state of Ohio. In January of 1981 the Fairfield County Council for the Disabled was established as a non-profit organization. In January of 1993, United Cerebral Palsy and the Fairfield County Council for the Disabled merged to create Fairfield Center for disAbilities and Cerebral Palsy, Inc. (FCdCP). The purpose of the merger was to provide better delivery of the many services offered to support individuals and families in Fairfield County.

The Ohio Network of Children's Advocacy Centers (ONCAC) is a non-profit organization based in Columbus, OH that works to support and advocate for child advocacy centers throughout Ohio. These child-focused facilities provide a safe and nurturing environment for abused children, coordinating the investigation and treatment of child sexual abuse and offering long-term advocacy and healthcare services to children and their families. Without a child advocacy center, children may have to repeatedly recount their traumatic experiences to various professionals, hindering their healing process. However, with the help of a child advocacy center, children are brought to a safe and child-friendly environment where they can share their experiences with a specially trained forensic interviewer.
