Pike County General Health District

Located in Waverly, Ohio, the Pike County Sheriff's Office is a law enforcement agency that protects residents lives, their property and individual rights, as well as maintains peace and order. It also conducts judicial sales of real and personal property, as well as determines property ownership. The Pike County Sheriff's Office supports Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), which is an international education program that seeks to prevent the use of illegal drugs, membership in gangs and violent behavior. The office has a Special response Team (SRT) that deals with dangerous situations, including high-risk warrant arrests and explosive devices, as well as heavily armed criminals and barricaded persons.
