The Old Worthington Library has been operational since 1803. It is based in Worthington, Ill., and has a partnership with the Worthington Historical Society providing a collaborative project to collect and preserve local history materials through the creation of a digital library. It also provides greater access to and enhances public awareness of Worthington's rich history. It offers a wide range of books, including fiction, nonfiction, biographies and autobiographies, children literature, science fiction, books on history, journals, magazines and several newspapers. The library also provides adults, DVDs, books on cassette and CD, music CDs, puzzles, computer software, learning games and audiovisual equipment. The Old Worthington Library also offers an online catalog of its books.
