The Ohio Association of Plumbing Inspectors (OAPI) is committed to fostering collaboration among inspectors, building departments, health departments, design professionals, contractors, building owners, and trade organizations. Through education and cooperation, the organization aims to ensure consistent and uniform interpretation of code requirements to safeguard public health and safety.

OAPI serves members from all regions of Ohio and honors both retired members and the memory of those who have significantly contributed to the profession. In addition to offering various continuing education courses, OAPI is now a chapter of the Ohio Building Officials Association (OBOA), which extends membership benefits to its members.
