Founded in 1996, Northern Ohio Recovery Association Inc. (NORA) is a substance abuse prevention and peer recovery support organization. The organization serves youth, adult and families in northern Ohio. It supports and provides prevention, treatment and recovery services. Northern Ohio Recovery Association Inc. helps to prevent relapse, promotes long-term recovery from substance abuse/dependence as well as enables full integration into the community. Additionally, mentors in its peer-to-peer recovery support services program provide services and one-on-one support to individuals in recovery
