Museum of Classical Archaeology the Ohio State University

The Museum of Classical Archaeology (MOCA) at Ohio State University is dedicated to the stewardship and educational value of its collection of Mediterranean antiquities, which includes at least 600 objects ranging from the Neolithic period to the 19th century. Established in 2005 by Professor Timothy Gregory, the museum aims to serve both research and public outreach through ongoing initiatives and collaborations among faculty from Classics, History, and Anthropology.

Although the museum is not currently open for regular visits, it welcomes researchers and class groups from OSU and local K-12 schools for special arrangements. The museum's revitalization efforts, led by a newly formed committee in 2023, focus on re-inventorying the collection and enhancing digital access to its resources.
