Montgomery County Solid Waste

The Montgomery County Solid Waste District is a department of the Montgomery County s public works department. In addition to providing waste disposal services, the district provides a variety of recycling, recovery, reuse, waste reduction and litter prevention programs for the community, schools and businesses. It organizes a recycled sculpture contest for school students and includes creating an abstract or realistic sculpture using recyclable materials. Additionally, the Montgomery County Solid Waste District operates a free electronics recycling program for businesses. The program recycles various electronic products, such as computers, monitors, printers, scanners, copiers, phones, facsimile machines, servers, circuit boards, televisions, laptops, cell phones, keyboards and computer mouse. It is located in Dayton, Ohio.
