We Love Local Mohican Market & Café, founded in 2014, grew from the Shrock Family’s devotion to the community. This building was the former Rader’s Restaurant, which was operated by the Rader's family for two generations. Joseph and Mary Ann Shrock, along with their three adult daughters, son, and their families, realized the need for a local country market. They had a desire for customers to experience a warm and comfortable atmosphere while shopping for fresh, quality, wholesome foods in a friendly, clean facility. They do not offer products that they wouldn’t be proud to serve at their own dinner table. Mohican Market & Café also strives to offer foods and goods produced by local people whenever possible. The market is constantly listening to what customers want, updating products, special offerings, and new conveniences. For example, patrons can dine indoors or outdoors in the expanded patio area.
