Established in 1945, Metro Parks conserves open spaces and provides places and opportunities for people to experience nature. The office maintains an area of more than 450 acres of land. It offers spaces for picnics and relaxation. The office also conducts programs for home school student, preschooler and scout groups. In addition, it offers hiking, camping and volunteer programs. Metro Parks operates a nature center that organizes exhibitions on the nature and cultural history of a variety of places. Located in Westerville, Ohio, the office supports fishing, hunting, ice-skating, sledding and canoeing activities, as well as maintains pet trails. It provides playground equipment for individuals.

The metro parks are great for so many things - hiking, biking, walking, kids playing. They do a great job preparing the parks. The rangers are all nice and responsive. The passport is a fun...
