Memorial Stadium
Memorial Stadium in Westerville, OH underwent a $2.0 million renovation in 2014, thanks to generous donations from the Clements Foundation, Roush Foundation, the O Club, and alumni. The renovation included the installation of a new turf field and track, making Otterbein the first school in Central Ohio to feature the hybrid system. The stadium also features a $3.2 million grandstand with handicap access, state-of-the-art locker rooms, a training room, equipment room, and O Club room, making it the home venue for Otterbein's football, soccer, lacrosse, and track and field teams.
The renovation was carried out by three Ohio-based companies: MSA Architects offices in Columbus and Cincinnati, The Motz Group Cincinnati, and Heiberger Paving Canal Winchester. The Motz Group installed a state-of-the-art Crossflex HP synthetic surface, while a 13-millimeter Stobitan running track system was also installed. The grandstand, financed through private funds raised by the Clements Foundation and the Otterbein O Club, seats 2,400 and includes a section with 500 stadium chairs, as well as a press box with separate booths for television, radio, media, game operations, and coaches.
