McKenzie Stewart, OD, FAAO

Dr. Guillette is a pediatric optometrist at Akron Children’s Hospital, where she’s been practicing since 2021. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences School of Optometry in Worcester, Massachusetts and completed her pediatric optometry residency at Akron Children’s Hospital. Dr. Guillette is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. While she has helped to educate the optometry residents since joining our faculty in 2021, she recently took over as the Director of the Pediatric Optometry Residency Program in 2025.

Nikki is a physician assistant at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing as a provider since 2021. She earned a bachelor’s degree from The University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio and a master’s degree from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Nikki has a special interest in orthopedics and sports medicine. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants.

The North Canton Health Center provides pediatric primary care, rehabilitative services, allergy/immunology, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, orthopedics, physiatry, pulmonology, sports medicine, urology and vision.
