Matthew Ritter, O.D.

Brian K. Kuhlman, O.D. joined Cincinnati Eye Institute (CEI) 2004 to provide Optometric services and to assist in the Glaucoma Clinic, working closely with Anup Khatana, MD. He received his Doctoral Degree from the Ohio State University in 2003, where he also worked on his undergraduate education. During his training, Dr. Kuhlman completed his Externship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Upon graduation, he completed a 13 month post-Doctoral Residency at CEI, focusing on the management of ocular disease.

Evelyne Mechas, OD was born in Canada and raised in Lexington, Kentucky where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish at The University of Kentucky. After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Mechas moved to Columbus and received her doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Mechas continued her education by completing an Ocular Disease Residency Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. She is happy to return to Ohio and serve the Cincinnati community. Dr. Mechas has experience in comprehensive exams- including glasses and contact lenses, ocular emergency visits, diabetic eye exams, dry eye treatment, macular degeneration, and has a passion for managing glaucoma.

Dr. Hildenbrand received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana. She attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois where she received her Doctoral Degree. She received several honors including two academic awards in addition to induction into the Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb & Key Academic Societies. Dr. Hildenbrand completed her Ocular Disease Externship at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois.
