Martin Bocks, MD is the Director of Pediatric Interventional Cardiology at the Congenital Heart Collaborative and the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at UH Rainbow Babies Children's Hospital. He is board-certified in pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease, specializing in transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement, complex neonatal interventions, and endovascular therapies for congenital heart defects in children and adults. Dr. Bocks is also actively involved in research, focusing on pediatric medical device development and bioresorbable technologies for cardiac catheterization interventions.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Michigan and a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Bocks completed his residency in internal medicine-pediatrics and fellowships in pediatric cardiology and pediatric interventional cardiology at the University of Michigan. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (FSCAI). Dr. Bocks has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and serves as a reviewer for leading periodicals in the field of congenital and structural heart interventions.
