The Medina County Sanitary Engineering Department offers a range of solid waste management services. It provides and manages water and wastewater systems for more than 30,000 customers. The department is responsible for the operation of various sewerage facilities. The Medina County Sanitary Engineering Department maintains a staff of over 135 employees. The department operates nearly 485 miles of sanitary sewers. Its water distribution division has approximately 10 water storage tanks and more than five water pumping stations.
