Mahoning County Court

The Stark County Juvenile Probation Department offers supervision and monitoring services. Located in Canton, Ohio, the department conducts presentence investigations for its clients, as well as develops safety plans. It also provides counseling, evaluation and referral services. The Stark County Juvenile Probation Department serves more than 600 juveniles on probation. The department collaborates with the Department of Criminal Justice at Kent State University, the University of Akron and the Stark State Technical College to provide internship opportunities. In addition, it offers anger management and vocational rehabilitation services. The Stark County Juvenile Probation Department is a part of the Stark County Family Court, which operates through domestic relations, specialized services and juvenile intake departments.
