Mayfield High School offers education to more than 2,000 students in grades eight through 12. It is a public school and is affiliated with Mayfield City School District. The schools curriculum includes English, American history, science, social studies, business education, foreign language, industrial technology, mathematics, computers, and physical and health education. Its athletic department offers a variety of sports activities, including football, golf, soccer, tennis, volleyball, cross-country, cheerleading, baseball, hockey, swimming, wrestling, gymnastics, and track and field. Established in 1975, Youngstown Christian School offers various educational and extracurricular programs for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school conducts various athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, cheerleading and bowling. Youngstown Christian School provides several food options for lunch. The school is a member of the Ohio Athletic Association.
