STAT MedEvac is a direct air carrier E3MA774L which arranges for and coordinates the operation of air ambulance services. All flights are operated by STAT MedEvac. Each of the rotor wing aircraft has a pilot, flight nurse and flight paramedic, all of whom are appointed by the Center for Emergency Medicine of Western Pennsylvania Inc. Every air craft is devised with Lifepak 12, portable ventilator, king LTD, IV fluid warmer, pediatric bag, units of blood and ventricular assist devices. This emergency medicine service can take care of procedures, such as rapid sequence intubation, surgical cricothyroidotomy, needle cricothyroidotomy, escharotomy, blood products administration, transvenous pacing etc.
