Liberty Park

Gahanna Parks and Recreation Department administers more than 700 acres of parkland and reserves. The various amenities managed by the department include sporting event fields, picnic shelters, polo field, swimming pools, paddleboat marina and playgrounds. It organizes various sports events, which includes gymnastics, tennis, basketball and volleyball leagues. The department also organizes cultural programs and recreational activities, such as festivals, community special events, concerts, arts and dance classes, fire camps and outdoor events. The various events organized by the department include lights parade, annual herb day and jazz festival. Gahanna Parks and Recreation Department also operates a nine-hole, par 35 golf course and has its administrative office located in Gahanna, Ohio.
