The Department of History at Kent State University is dedicated to providing a comprehensive education in history at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to offering a Bachelor of Arts degree and a minor in History at the undergraduate level, Kent State University's Graduate Program in History provides opportunities for advanced study with both a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy degree. The department also offers a unique 3+3 program, allowing History majors to matriculate directly into law school at either the University of Akron or the John Marshall School of Law at Cleveland State University.
