Joseph Smith and his family moved to the home of John and Elsa Johnson in Hiram, Ohio, in September 1831. The Johnson's were recent converts to the Church and had become acquainted with the Prophet while in Kirtland. The Johnson Farm is now open for guided tours. Group sizes for tours may be limited to 10 people or less. Face masks are recommended on tours for those who have not been fully vaccinated. Advance scheduling is strongly encouraged by contacting the Historic Kirtland Visitors� Center.
