Mohammad El Diasty, MD, MSc, PhD, FRCS, FEBTCVS, FACC, is an adult cardiac surgeon at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. El Diasty’s areas of expertise and clinical interest include on-pump and off-pump total arterial coronary artery bypass surgery, aortic valve surgery, mitral valve surgery, tricuspid valve surgery, aortic dissection surgery, aortic arch surgery and atrial fibrillation surgery. In addition to his surgical practice, he is an avid researcher studying the molecular basis and prevention of postoperative atrial fibrillation, as well as inflammatory response after cardiac surgery.

Sarah Eapen, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiac surgeon at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. Eapen’s expertise spans the surgical management of patients with aortic, coronary and valvular heart conditions. She has a special clinical interest in aortic surgery.

Vinicius Esteves, MD, PhD, FESC, is an interventional cardiologist at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute, known internationally for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex valve and structural heart conditions. Dr. Esteves has extensive experience in the management of patients with aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve disorders. He is also an avid physician researcher, with leading investigator roles in clinical trials for novel cardiovascular therapies and techniques.
