Webb & Pillich LLC was founded on June 1, 2005 by Lea M. Webb and Constance M. Pillich. Webb & Pillich prides itself in having professional, caring, accessible attorneys. In October 2007, Webb & Pillich LLC welcomed George E. Fee IV as a partner, and moved the offices to larger premises in Blue Ash. The offices are easily accessible from all parts of Greater Cincinnati. January 1, 2010: To Sudanese Nationals in the US: The Temporary Protective Status available to Sudanese nationals who are currently in the US is being extended. You must send in a new application to renew your status, even if you have not received a decision on your current application. Webb & Pillich, LLC, will be offering low cost assistance on these applications. We believe that having an attorney should not be necessary, but we have seen too many instances of applications falling through administrative cracks when persons try to handle immigration applications without an attorney. We also see far too many applications denied because applicants need assistance in tracking deadlines and deliveries. The day of training is called: Eliminating The Language Barrier: Strategies for Language Accessibility. Friday, January 22nd, 2010 from 10 AM - 3 PM. This workshop will discuss the responsibilities of recipients of federal funds to provide language assistance and meaningful access to non-English speakers, strategies to ensure language assistance while keeping maintaining expertise and how to manage an interpreted session. We will also discuss the role of the interpreter during the provision of services and the necessary components of a language accessibility plan. July 2010: Lea Webb has been invited to lead a panel of attorneys and government representatives at the American Immigration Lawyers Association ( AILA ) Conference in July 2010. The conference will be held in the Washington, D.C. area. Lea will be sharing her guidance as a long-time practitioner of immigration under the Violence Against Women Act.
