Located in College Corner, Ohio, Hueston Woods State Park has more than 3,000 acres of natural resources for outdoor recreation, such as hiking, fishing, canoeing and fossil hunting. The park offers more than 10 miles of hiking trails, over 15 miles of bridle trails, a horsemen s staging area and nearly 10 miles for mountain biking. It also has an 18-hole, more than 7,000-yard, par-72 golf course and driving ranges. The park provides various other facilities for outdoor family fun, including a volleyball court, a playground and basketball court. It also offers a wide range of activities, such as sledding, ice skating, bike rentals, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, paintball and hunting. It is a part of Ohio State Parks, a division of Ohio Department of Natural Resources that was founded in 1949 to create, supervise, operate and maintain a system of state parks.
