Hospice of Huntington

Founded in 1982, Hospice of Huntington provides hospice care to patients in Cabell, Wayne, Mason and Lincoln counties in West Virginia and Lawrence County in Ohio. The center provides physical, emotional and spiritual care for terminally ill patients and their families. Located in Huntington, W.Va., it serves more than 200 patients each day in their homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The center provides services to patients suffering from cancer, Parkinson's disease, strokes, multiple sclerosis, and heart, lung, kidney and liver diseases. It employs medical directors, nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, grief support counselors and patient care volunteers. The center s programs and services include specialized support, such as emotional guidance and support before and after the death of a patient.

Three Rivers Immediate Care Louisa provides medical care for a variety of non-emergent illnesses and injuries that do not require a visit to the emergency room.

Sunset Nursing Center is a 60-plus-bed long term care facility located in Coal Grove, Ohio. It serves the residents of Lawrence County, Ohio, and offers a range of medical services, including physical, occupational and speech therapies, as well as respiratory care services. Sunset Nursing Center also provides full housekeeping, nursing care, laundry and maintenance services. The facility also serves private insurance and respite care residents. It conducts scheduled activities and special events for residents each day. Sunset Nursing Center has a nursing staff that handles wound care. It is a Medicare, Medicaid and Hospice-certified facility. Sunset Nursing Center operates under Veterans Administration contract.
