Some of the services offered by the organization include precertification, utilization review, case management, disease self-management programs and personalized follow-up on comprehensive health screenings. It provides health benefits management to residents and employers throughout Greater Cincinnati, northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana. In addition, HealthSpan complies with Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The organization is also Utilization Review Accreditation Commission accredited (URAC).
