Central Primary School is a public school that provides academic classes to students in kindergarten through grade three. The school is operated by the Bedford City School District, which also includes other elementary, middle and high schools. Central Primary School offers classes in various subjects, such as health and physical education, English, language arts, math, social studies, science and art. It operates a parent resource room that stocks games, brochures, videos, books and other learning activities. Central Primary School has a health office that provides information on immunization and communicable diseases, as well as offers schedules for health screenings.

Bedford High School, established in 1954, is a part of the Bedford City School District, and provides education to students in grades nine through 12. It offers college preparatory programs in various subjects, including English, world languages, family and consumer sciences, technology and social studies.
