The Stark County Auditor's office is responsible for real estate appraisal and assessment services. The auditor s office handles matters related to real estate taxes and tax rates. The Stark County Auditor's office also calculates bond and emergency levy rates annually. The auditor s office serves residents and other governmental entities of Stark County in Ohio. The Stark County Auditor's office issues warrants in payment of all county obligations, including the distribution of tax dollars to townships, villages, school districts, library systems and county agencies. The auditor s office distributes motor vehicle license fees, fines, local government funds, and gasoline and estate taxes. The Lorain County Clerk of Court of Common Pleas office is responsible for various administrative and ministerial duties in conjunction with the Court of Common Pleas in the state of Ohio. Its responsibilities include record creation, maintenance, reporting and retention of the activities of the court and the issuance of process. The clerk s office is also responsible for the receipt and disbursement of all money paid into the court system. It is also charged with the duty of preparing and maintaining records of the Certificate of Title for all vehicles and watercraft owned by several residents of Lorain County in Ohio.
