That conversation expanded and developed into a Board of Directors, then became a public conversation and sought the ideas, talents, and leg-work of those who live, work, and/or are invested in our area. Over the last several years, New Visions has become an independent organization that has sought to engage and empower a volunteer network who have created new initiatives, enhanced existing projects, and seek to have an overall positive impact on our community.New Visions strives not only to think ?outside the box?, but to paint that box white (a blank slate) so that others can see the potential and opportunity that exists here. It aims to be a conversation starter, a catalyst, and a connecting agent which brings people together, builds trust, and starts to shift attitudes and grow pride in our community. We don?t care who gets the credit, as long as progress is happening!Mission Statement:Our mission is to establish Lawrence County, PA as a more desirable community in which to live, work, and play.Vision Statement:Our vision is to develop a comprehensive planning effort that addresses and leads the public interest in finding a greener, cleaner, safer, and more prosperous Lawrence County.
