French Field House
French Field House, located at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, was completed in November 1956 and originally designed for indoor track and field meets. The facility has since evolved to serve as a practice venue for various sports and features a strength and conditioning weight room, as well as an indoor rowing tank for the varsity rowing squad.
A significant renovation project was completed in October 2009, enhancing the fieldhouse with a state-of-the-art 200-meter track, new bleachers, and updated facilities for field events. Named in honor of Professor William E. French, who served as the Western Conference faculty representative for 32 years, the venue continues to host numerous indoor track and field meets during the winter season.
